Cracker...Nuts?!

Today My dad, little brother Hinton and I went to Walmart to pick up some stuff. At the Check out we grabbed some Cracker Jacks to eat on the way home. Hinton wanted them right away. We told him as soon as we get in the car. After we got all the bags in and  were buckled up Hinton pipes up and says " Can I have my Cracker Nuts now?!" Ha-ha My dad and I burst into laughter.
We had to stop one more place so we were getting back out of the car when Hinton yells out "WHERE CAN I PUT MY NUTS!!!" Oh man I love that little boy!

Hallelujah!!

The other night Clayton and I were going to watch a movie. We decided to drag our mattress into the living room to put in front of the TV so we could cuddle and watch the movie. In the process we bumped our shelf in our living room that has my Willow Tree Nativity collection. (my sweet mother has been getting me a new piece or set each Christmas.) I love the set so much that I keep it up all year and its just another  reminder of our Savior and his love for us. So we bumped it and ....

                                CRASH!!

The shelf and the Nativity fell to the floor...Clayton immediately started to take the blame. Though it wasn't his fault at all!! He was so sad for me cause he knows how much I love Willow Tree Figures and more importantly my Nativity. He started apologizing and I assured him it was fine and no ones fault. I bent down the asses the damage...

The Fallen...

The Survivors

Later I hot glued them back together! Luckily you cant tell unless you look very close!! All in all it turned out all right! (Oh and excuse my dirty looking mirror! I promise it doesn't look that dirty its just the flash ;) )

Soda Pop Suprise!

Need a quick fun idea?! I got this idea from The Dating Divas (http://www.thedatingdivas.com/). It super fun and super easy!

First take a box of  your sweeties favorite glass bottles of soda. I like the old fashion bottles.

Take Two pieces of scrapbook paper. Trace the outside of the box.

Add some ribbion or emblishments to make it pop.

Take some of his or hers favorite candy (small) and fill the bottles. ( I did half the bottles so he could still enjoy the pop)

And Wahlah!! Finished Product. Now just put it the fridge to cool and the next time they open the fridge a nice suprise will await them :)

Contact Bliss

I recently went in for an eye appointment. I went in because my eyes were itching like crazy and I thought that I might have allergies. I also wanted to try getting a new brand of contacts. I had Acueve Oasis with Hydro-clear but, for some reason they would always be scratched up so I would have to put a new pair of contacts in every few days..and that can get CRAZY expensive.
So I walked in he sat me in that huge chair took one look at my eyes and said YEAH YOU HAVE ALLERGIES ALRIGHT! So he said that the Dailies contacts would be perfect for my eyes and healthier cause people don't tend to use dailies more then they should. I have to admit I would wear my old contacts till I couldn't see out of them any more or they ripped. Now its all changed. I got the new contacts and love them! I love That I don't have to wear my glasses as much and can wear my contacts up until I turn out the lights:)
He also said I needed eye drops to help with the allergies. He gave me two options. Two over the counter drops  or I could get prescription drops. I decided to give to the over the counter drops a try!! And I LOVE THEM!! It's just a drop twice a day and my eyes have never been better!! So If you have allergies and Have Contacts I would tell you to switch to Dailies and get Alaway by Bausch and Lomb.
The switch actually saved me money. My normal contacts were around $22.00 dollars a box and my new contacts are only $43.00 for 90 (3 months worth)  So thats around $14.00 Dollars a box! You can even save more if you buy a year supply :)
In the end my eyes feel so much better and I am happy with the switch :)
