This weekend we had Nanna's Halloween Bash. It was so fun!! We had yummy food, including bread bowls that looked like pumpkins. We had Halloween games and decorated haunted house. We made super yummy caramel apples and chocolate covered pretzels! We had such a great time! Nanna always does the best party's and they are always super fun!!

Cabin weekend

This last  weekend we went to the Haskells Cabin down in Strawberry. We left after work Friday at 5:00 its about a drive 1 1/2 hours. We spent the night laugh and joking. In the morning Clayton and I got up went for a little walk it was BEAUTIFUL!!! The colors were crazy bright. Then we packed up and went up to West Jordan so that took 2 hours. We had a great family party then afterwards we decided that we wanted to go back up to the cabin again so there is 2 hours and then we came home Sunday morning which was another 1 1/2 hours. So in total we drove 7 hours this weekend! The driving was long but the rest of the weekend was still so fun and i'm so glad we did all the driving  because all the good times made it worth it.
The first night we were at the cabin I got the privileged of staying up with little Brynlee bug. I was expecting her to wake up a few times so I offered to get up so we could have us time. No not at all she woke up a total of ONE time...at 4:00 a.m. then went right back to sleep. So at 7:00 a.m. I scooped her up even  though she was totally a sleep because un-like Brynlee I wanted to have us time. She is so stinking cute.
The second night we were having so much fun Mollie, Sam, Clayton and I all pulled our beds into the same room and joke and laughed the night away. So much fun!!
I was lame and really only got pictures of the beautiful colors not of all our fun times. Though here are some of the pictures I got.

One the way home we had this truck in front of us. Clayton noticed there was a dog in the bed of the truck.  I started to say "Hey Puppy, hey little puppy" things like that in a little baby voice. Clayton started to laugh at me saying that the puppy couldn't hear me! To his surprise when I started to call the puppy he would pop up! It was probably just pure luck but still made by laugh, here is a video its hard to see but it my proof!!

:D :( :S

I have mixed emotions about my new job! Though I love it!!! I wake every morning happy! I don't dread work at all and I love the kids! Work actually doesn't feel like work I used to volunteer at Daisy school on Fridays so it just feels like i'm volunteering all the time. I totally LOVE the kids they are so funny!! Here is one example:

We have this student we will call him Bob. Well bob had just bought a toy diesel gas truck from our class store(they earn money for good behavior and then get to buy something from the class store). After everyone had  bought there new toys we had a show and tell so everyone could show  their new toys!! Bob got up in front of the class and says "This is my toy gas truck in  the olden  days it would bring people gas." We corrected him saying that the gas truck is used today to bring gasoline to the gas stations.  Bob then nodded and replied "But not on the SABBATH!!" It took a  lot to not laugh.

They are so fun and funny I am so glad I took the job its been a great experience and blessing to us. Today we were able to go on a class field trip to Cornbellys and the kids enjoyed that a lot!

Though every time I pass my old work or happen to look at the clock I sit and think about my girls or figure out what they are doing right now. (I know I'm crazy!!) I am going to go  visit them  this week so maybe that will help with the "separation anxiety" that I've seem to develop!! I know this is  weird I have only been gone a little over a week but I'm worried  they will forget me...not possible right? I hope not because I did spend over the last 3 years with them and hopefully made some good memories!!

All in all I'm glad where I am now. Though Change can be good or bad. This change for me is an amazing change but still has its down sides, but its all worth it. Plus it makes it easier to know I can still go see my girls and check up on them.

Suprise...

Last Saturday night Clayton  was at the BYU game. I was at home just relaxing when the thought came to me, when was the last time you did something extra special or sweet for Clayton? Honestly it had been a little while so I started thinking what I could do. This is what I came up with....

When Clayton came home he found a note on the door saying PLEASE KNOCK, he did so and I opened the door and tied a tie around his eyes so he couldn't see. I led him into the Bathroom and shut him in with these instructions...

When he came out after his relaxing bath, to find candles everywhere, romantic music playing softly in the background and yummy fruit crepes drizzled in chocolate, whip cream and caramel. Though the picture is horrible I assure you the crepes where Amazing :)

After the crepes I gave Clayton  a nice long massage, I put some lotion in the microwave for 10 sec to make it nice and warm :)

In the end Clayton was surprised and grateful!! The next morning he told me he was so relaxed from the massage he had the best night sleep in a very long time. Success!! It funny how the tiny things we do for each other mean the most :) When's the last time you surprised your spouse or that special someone in your life? Try and think of something extra or sweet to do for them, it will make their day I promise!!

Baby Sitting Baby Brynlee

The other day Clayton and I were able to baby sit Jen and Joeys little girl Brynlee. It was super fun and easy. Literally Brynlee wouldn't wake up for anything. We Tried talking, poking, tickling, laying her down, ect. We weren't just waking her up to be mean mind you, we were just trying to wake her up to eat. She wouldn't have it so we just held her and enjoyed her.
